About WideSprout

How a sprout became a tree.

It started with one notebook in one van. Everything else grew from there.

A NOTEBOOK, A VAN,AND A LOT OF ROAD T S E R

Our story

No five-year plan. Just following the light.

WideSprout began as a battered travel notebook, kept by headlamp in a van. Routes, prices, what worked and what didn’t. Those notes became WideSprout Travel.

Then it grew outward, the way sprouts do. The stories we heard along the way became WideSprout Stories. The language we kept stumbling over became WideSprout Español. The food we kept cooking became WideSprout Recipe.

None of it was planned. Each branch grew toward wherever the light happened to be, and each one kept the same roots.

The name

The name

“A sprout that widens outward, unplanned, in whatever direction the light happens to be.”

That’s WideSprout. One seed, many branches. The roots are the values we share; the trunk is the small team that tends it; the branches are the brands. New ones sprout when something deserves its own home.

The roots

What connects our brands

How we put them into practice →
  1. 01

    Small, steady steps

One minute of Spanish a day, one story at a time, one border at a time.

  4. 04

    Open about how we work

We say clearly when AI tools are used, and every piece is checked by people.

  5. 05

    Made to be kept

Stories, guides and lessons you return to, not scroll past.
