Accessibility statement

Applies to widesprout.com and every WideSprout brand · Last updated 19 October 2026

In short. We want everyone to be able to read, watch and learn with WideSprout. If something gets in your way, tell us and we will fix it.

1. Our commitment

WideSprout is built so that people can use it with a keyboard, a screen reader, zoomed text or reduced motion.

Accessibility is part of how we design and write, not a feature we add at the end.

2. Standards we follow

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

In practice that means real headings, descriptive links, text alternatives for meaningful images, visible focus outlines, a “Skip to content” link, touch targets of at least 44 pixels, sufficient colour contrast, and animations that stop when your device asks for reduced motion.

3. Known limitations

Some decorative illustrations are drawn for sighted visitors only and are hidden from screen readers on purpose, so they don’t add noise.

Our downloadable PDFs (the media kit and press kit) may not be fully tagged yet. If you need any of them in another format, write to us and we will send an accessible version.

4. Captions and transcripts

We add captions to our YouTube videos, and Stories videos are published alongside the full written story.

WideSprout Español lessons explain every rule in plain English and say each Spanish word twice. If a video is missing captions, tell us and we will prioritise it.

5. Feedback

If you find a barrier on any WideSprout site, email thewidesprout@gmail.com or use our contact form. Please tell us the page and what happened.

We reply within 3 working days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Spanish Observatory of Web Accessibility via the Ministry for Digital Transformation.
